October Tea

strange days but we have met before
dusk and dawn wearing the winter chill
and afternoon sun still showing off its summery ways
time never waits and with it changes the fashion
Cold frozen delights will now slowly be replaced by
warm snuggles and hot sips
and no matter how pleasant the mornings and the evening seem,
they have a cold heart
beware of the two faced october breeze
these are the days when chill invites pills
have a happy wintery summery warm days cold nights
winter is knocking on the door
are you ready for the show?

About Soma Mukherjee

I often say things that put me in a jam, Jams go well with Buttered Toasts, Toasts are great hosts, Ghosts not so much, Although they can dance, Not all dancers are serial killers, Serial killers do not use Body bags that often, body bags aren't leak proof, Proof is in the Pudding.

  1. I was right, you have a true gift for the written word,
and I will be calling by and reading a lot more of your
    fine work 🙂

In the meantime do enjoy those winter nights where
the chill is often cutting, and yet the warmth of an open
fire gives a delightfully sweet and welcomed comfort 🙂
