It’s all about the giraffes

“Short poems are anti giraffe” ~ the giraffe union
“Giraffism is the only way of life” ~the giraffe priest of Camelopardalis temple
“If God wanted us to read short poems he would have given us six legs” ~a kid
“those who write short poems must really hate giraffes a lot” ~a big shot after a big shot
I have always wanted to write a short poem
a poem that will be chihuahua small
will have seven to eight  lines
and not be complicated at all
not bound by bold or italics
or words that will make it too tall
but then i was struck by a thought
a thought which came with a huge pot
that if i write a poem so small
how will the giraffes read it !
They do have long black tongue which looks purple
and their saliva is antiseptic says Dr. Curple
but that wont help them read my poem so small
giraffism is all about big and tall
so sitting on a lime
taking a lot of time
 i wrote a poem
which was big
and the giraffes read and liked it.
but now cats don’t like me at all

About Soma Mukherjee

I often say things that put me in a jam, Jams go well with Buttered Toasts, Toasts are great hosts, Ghosts not so much, Although they can dance, Not all dancers are serial killers, Serial killers do not use Body bags that often, body bags aren't leak proof, Proof is in the Pudding.

  24. Giraffes always want things their way. If you have to please them, you could write your short poems then and stretch out the letters so that they’re long and skinny like a giraffe. Then the giraffes shouldn’t have anything at all to complain about. And they won’t boycott your site.

Giraffe language is a method that focuses on language and communication in the ups and withdrawal case of conflict – the method provides specific linguistic tools for conflict resolution – the principle of the giraffe language is that in a conversation in their own half and expresses its own needs, stick to the case and listen to the counterparty with empathy.

Wolves languages giraffe language contrast when talking wolf language, evaluate and accusations one another, hear what you hear and have difficulty sticking to the matter.

Giraffe language is based on a non-violent communication (NVC) and was developed by the american psychologist Marshall Rosenberg… 😉

after the Astronomers heard Soma Star speak ……
after such a long time of gazing at her beauty and innocence –
They listened so closely to her words – because you see –
This Soma Star – well –
she knew a lot about remaining the child …….
And that is what the world needed ……..
Even though this beautiful Soma Star had seen and felt – the grown up world – with all its sharp edges and chasms ….= She remained HERSELF – true to herself .
She spoke about things the world needed to remember …..
        Needed to remember ……
and in the remembering – came a new understanding –
a new kind of childlike courage ……….
The Very real possibility that when the world remembers that we are all little kids at heart – then imagination – love – kindness – well it rises to new levels – new heights ……….
And this was merely the beginning of what Soma= The star spoke to the astronomers –
        and ultimately the World –
        I love you – u know
