Now anyone can become Filthy Rich, just call 800- Shark Bait

Yeah right! So I have a plan and instead of doing something about it, like getting rich, I blog….DUH! Davy Jones’ Locker awaits all ye Landlubbers. Read this poem instead.
once upon a time in a faraway land
lived a pirate,
his name, no one knows that,
but let’s call him Pegleg McStinky.
He wore one eye patch
his left hand was a hook
and right leg was all wood
his teeth were dark yellow and black
and he would often sing songs
write poems and look up in the sky
and ask God why o why
why was he all alone in the island,
where was the ship,
where were his pirate buddies,
why were the monkeys in the island
always attacking him,
why did pigs there bite his bum
when he tried to sleep,
what is a treasure
and where was it,
and most importantly
what to do when the stomach growls
day and night ?
He died looking for answers
and treasure in the island.
How sad and scary the story of
Pegleg McStinky
whose belly growled
Do not steal or copy this ye Son of a Biscuit Eaters

About Soma Mukherjee

I often say things that put me in a jam, Jams go well with Buttered Toasts, Toasts are great hosts, Ghosts not so much, Although they can dance, Not all dancers are serial killers, Serial killers do not use Body bags that often, body bags aren't leak proof, Proof is in the Pudding.

Poor Pegleg McStinky… those erratics adventures & ironics thoughts….

  6. Career options immense for pirates of the date ..
    what a dig ! Fabulous Soma Ma’m 🙂

  7. Sad, but oh so HILARIOUS!
    Well done!

  8. Still laughing at “…ye sons of biscuit eaters” Soma 😆

  9. I am thinking (to myself and not aloud at all) Mr. McStinky could teach a thing or three to all those others on ethics, morals and good behavior. Perhaps he should consider, upon rescue and all, a new career option of motivational speaker and philosophy instructor.

    Wonderful as always my friend.

  10. It would be hard to run on the beach with a peg leg, especially if being chased by a bum biting monkey …. just saying

  11. He could have done kids birthday parties
    And make them all laugh
Could have changed his pirate costume for that of a giraffe
With that long neck to see
    Far and away
On t’other side of the island was a bountiful bay

    • oh poor pirate he never knew he never knew
other side of island he had no clue
Thanks Stu what a wonderful add, wait for your comments in these insane posts , you are fabulous 🙂

  12. hey, Soma that’s pretty awesome. It’s a new genre and such a treat to read:) Love the comic strip it’s too funny and made ma day:)

  13. I watch my email inbox eagerly for the latest from Somaji and you never disappoint! Under all the humour there are telling shades of truth. Your five classifications in the comic strip probably come under one headline anyway, and that would be scam artists. I’m glad there are no pigs in this resort. I like my sleep. Cheers!

  14. My ten-year-old grandson says “you biscuit eaters” too. This is an adorable and clever and funny post, as usual, Soma! I have to tell Charlie about Pegleg McStinky and the Biscuit Eaters… 🙂

  15. Your line “why were the monkeys in the island always attacking him” was just hilarious! I can see Fraz the pirate running away from those screaming monkeys. Let me outta here!

  16. I agree with Eric and believe that many could learn to be at least as honest like the pirates – Eric mentioned them… “hahaha”

    A wonderful post… 🙂

  17. Love it, Soma!
I think Pegleg McStinky has earn a spot around here to read more of his tales. So wake him up out of this pig, bum biting grave and ask him to tell you more stories to share with us. 🙂

  18. I hope that Pegleg McStinky is going to be a regular feature around here Soma 🙂 At last Fraz has a pirate pal, yes he will need a gasmask and cork for Pegleg McStinky’s pong but what a brilliant poem and cartoon 🙂 lmao
